“Up in the Air” is a song based on travel— something that I’m fairly passionate about. I’ve traveled to half the states in the U.S. (thanks to my parents), France, and now, Austria. Travel is a big part of my life, and has had a great effect on my view of nature and the world.
lyrics
Wake up at four in the morning,
as you hear that alarm clock ring.
You know you’re tired, but still you’re fired
for what the day will bring.
Pack your bags and rush out the door now-
you’re about to go from shore to shore.
Get your camera ready, and take to the breeze;
Go and make some memories.
Flying up in the air.
Going places here and there.
Whether business or pleasure,
to the ground, you’re never anchored.
Enjoy your time before you take to the sky
a second time you aren’t quite as high
for home awaits you, very well you know
until the next trip you go
There’s a special feeling to being on wheels,
or even just on your own two heels.
Pay attention to what you sail by
no matter which way you fly.
Flying up in the air.
Going places here and there.
Whether business or pleasure,
to the ground, you’re never anchored.
