The titular song, and introduction to the album, is the product of my desire to write in a “Classical”, instrumental context. The piece uses modified versions of motives from most of the other songs on the album, with a different instrument playing each. The song and album start with a “peeling” motion of strings, from one unison note, all the way down through an octave with parts holding notes along the way, creating a cacophony, to me representing the chaotic-order in nature. It ends with a grand finish to kick-start the album.
